Corn dogs, maple bacon sundaes, funnel cakes, alligator, crickets or scorpions. Fresh, frozen or fried. This year, almost 70 State Fair vendors have cooked-up some of the most amazing menu items you can imagine. So whether you’re looking for continental cuisine or extreme and edgy food flavors, take time to savor the tastes of the State Fair!
The Fair’s favorite cantina is now located directly below Expo Center #1! Enjoy live music from south of the border along with hand-shaken margaritas. A lively respite from the heat, Hussong’s Cantina is the State Fair’s favorite place to kick back! Sponsored by Tecate.

Bringing Food to the Fair
Fairgoers are welcome to bring outside food and drinks into the Fairgrounds. Ice chests will be search at the entrances. No glass aluminum cans or outside alcohol are allowed, Paper and plastic containers of non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.
Girl Meets Bug Demo
July 16 and 26, at 1, 4 and 6:00 p.m.
Daniella Martin, host of Girl Meets Bug, the insect cooking/travel show, will demonstrate some of her favorite edible insect recipes. Daniella believes insect –based recipes are the way to help to solve world hunger, support indigenous people, and reduce pesticide use!
